Yuichi “icchu” Matsumoto

日本で唯一のGuitarViolプレイヤー、当サイト管理人。

ギタリスト・ベーシストとしての活動の中で「声のように伸びる音」への欲求の高まりから擦弦楽器への関心が生まれ、2012年にGuitarViolと出会う。

2013年にNOUVEAU SPARTAN(Electrocoustic Model)を入手。

しばらくの研鑽の後、2018年からGuitarViol奏者としても活動を開始。

古楽器ヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバにも取り組み、演奏技術や知見を反映させている。

クラシックとポップス両方のバックグラウンドを活かしての活動を探求中。

The only GuitarViol player in Japan, this site admin.

In his career as a guitarist bassist, his growing desire for “sounds like voices” led to his interest in bowed instruments, and he met GuitarViol in 2012.

In 2013, acquired NOUVEAU SPARTAN (Electrocoustic Model).

After a while, he started working as a GuitarViol player in 2018.

He also works on the ancient instrument Viola da Gamba, reflecting his performance skills and knowledge.

I’m exploring activities that make use of both classical and pop backgrounds.

This Guitarviol project heals himself by selecting and playing music.
